The Kalahari Research Centre (KRC), located in Kuruman River Reserve in Northern South Africa, serves as the field site of several long-term research projects on mammal and bird species. Operating since 1993, the KRC has developed into a substantial research station that has accommodation for fifty scientists and assistants providing unique opportunities for research, education and filming.
